The Power Rack is a cage-shaped apparatus with adjustable spotting bars along the sides, giving you a spotter should your squats or dead lifts prove too heavy. In addition, the rack includes both a chin-up bar and dip bars at no additional cost, so you can strengthen your back and triceps without using dumbbells or other free weights. And by adding other optional accessories--such as a lat tower or utility bench (sold separately)--you can perform even more exercises. The lat tower provides a high/low pulley system ideal for back exercises, arm curls, and more, while the utility bench opens up the machine to bench presses, shoulder presses, and other upper body workouts.
